Learn how to take your photography to the next level with professional photographer Vanessa Miles. Suitable for anyone who loves taking pictures whether youre shooting on a DSLR, point and shoot, or even your phone.
In this one-day course you will get a chance to explore the rules, tips and tricks behind composing great photographs, no matter your subject. Participants will be taking pictures, downloading them and analysing them to get feedback to help them develop their skills as photographers.
Please note that all attendees are expected to bring along their own camera, and will need to know how to transfer pictures from their camera to a computer.

Vanessa Miles is a professional photographer based in Exeter.
Her experience is rich and varied in the world of photography. She was a founder member of womens photography collective in South London in the early eighties and set up ran the Environmental Picture library in London in the early nineties. She has worked as a freelance picture editor, researcher and as a film stills photographer. Since living in Devon, she works as a wedding, press and events photographer, and photography teacher. She is Exeter Phoenixs principal photography tutor and teaches photography at Exeter College for adult education. She is a freelance lecturer for higher education and has recently completed an MA at Plymouth University.
