Equipment Hire
Exeter Phoenix maintains a large selection of film equipment including camera, lighting and audio kit that can be hired at competitive rates to support your film and media productions. Below you will find our full list of equipment and facilities available for hire.

We can provide filmmaking training and/or relevant crew to help you manage your production, or equipment can be provided as ‘dry-hire’. We offer discount rates for weekend hire or extended hire of a week or more on all film equipment, please get in touch via the details below with any further enquiries.
To use these facilities you will need to register with Exeter Phoenix via the membership form at the bottom of this page and provide photo ID and proof of residency when collecting your first rental. All equipment taken off site is the responsibility of the hirer. Adequate insurance cover should be taken out for all equipment hired.

Our Digital Workshop provides hi-spec mac-based computer with a comprehensive range of software including the full Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro X. There is super-fast fibre WiFi available as well as space for meetings.

Includes: Zoom F4 Multitrack Recorder, Shotgun Microphone, Boom Pole, Radio Microphone kit, and XLRs.
Complete Camera Rig Package
From £50.00 per day
Includes: Shoulder Rig, Cinema Rig, Matte Box, Follow Focus, Marshall V-LCD70P Monitor.
Discounts
Concessionary rates are available for students, pensioners and benefit recipients. Concessions receive a 40% discount on hire prices. Discounts are also available for weekend hires.
The minimum charge is 1 day. Discounts available for hires over the weekend.
Membership Form
Below is our online membership form for all equipment hire bookings. This must be completed before any equipment hire bookings can be collected. If you have registered with us before then you do not need to register for any future bookings. You will still be required to bring Photo ID and proof of residency with you when you arrive to collect your booking.
